What you should be able to do

  • Zoom to 400% without text spilling off the screen or needing to scroll sideways.
  • Use the whole site with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline on every link, button and field.
  • Use it with a screen reader, with headings, landmarks and labelled form fields.
  • Turn off animation by switching on reduced motion in your device settings.
  • Read all text against its background at a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1.

How we tested

We last tested this website on 29 September 2026. We ran automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks with axe-core on the home page and the legal pages, and reviewed the code for keyboard focus, reduced motion, form labels, image descriptions and page structure. Keyboard-only, screen reader and 400% zoom testing is scheduled.

Known issues

  • Two small text labels in the “People look in more places than Google” section (“GBP” and “GPT”) are shown in brand colours with low contrast. They stand in for logos and repeat names given in full nearby.

The display typeface, Thanatos, loads from Adobe Fonts. Every other typeface is served from this website. If Thanatos fails to load, the site falls back to a typeface served from here and stays fully usable.

Fixed on 30 September 2026. Every page now begins with a “skip to main content” link. The steps in “How it runs” that you have not reached yet are no longer faded out: they are set in a softer colour measuring 7.4 to 1 against the page, where fading them had left them at 1.9 to 1.

Client websites

We build client websites to WCAG 2.2 AA at launch. Each client is responsible for its own accessibility statement and for content it adds later.
